Our expertise is conventional wood framing, adhering to all building codes, including the particularly stringent codes of British Columbia, Canada, and California, USA. Our buildings are engineered, plan-stamped, and inspected on-site, receiving final certification from structural engineers. Built to meet rigorous live load requirements, our homes are prepared for all environmental conditions, ensuring our homes are at the forefront of safety, durability, and beauty in any setting.
From our base in Nelson, BC, Purcell takes care of packaging and shipping your timber frame home package to your location, whether in Canada, the USA, or internationally. Our process ensures that your custom home components arrive securely and ready for assembly.
We offer a catalogue collection of prefab home design packages, or we can create a custom home design for you.
We start all projects with a $20,000 design deposit payment and a copy of your property land survey.
When we receive your design deposit and property land survey, we schedule a phone call to review your wish list and design ideas for the home. We will send your round 1 design as soon as it is ready and go back-and-forth together with the design until you are 100% happy with it.
Once you are 100% happy with the design, we will enter the permit and build phase. We then engineer the home and create all the plan pages for your building permit submission. As soon as your permit is approved, your foundation gets poured, and Purcell will arrive with your home package.
